It's [Finally] Winter In Flagstaff
Although it came a little late... Winter is finally here at Northern Arizona University! And let me tell you, I am much more appreciative of this white powdered wonderland when I'm walking through it versus when I'm trying to drive through it in my little Honda Civic (that was a scary adventure in itself).
I took the 30-minute morning walk in the snow yesterday from south campus to north campus with my camera to take in all the beautiful sights. From the snow-covered pine trees and brick buildings to the treacherous icicles that have built up all around NAU, I couldn't get enough... until I got too cold that is.
Winter really is a wonderful sight to see up here in Flagstaff. And the cold is a little more bearable when God gives you something lovely to look at in addition to the strong winds and brisk chill.
"He has made everything beautiful in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:11
This is so true, everything is so beautiful in it's right timing, just like the seasons - the lovely flowers in spring, the bright sunshine in summer, the colorful leaves in fall, and the blissful snow in winter. Thank you, God, for blessing me with this earth you have created.
Take a look at these snapshots of NAU after a full day of snow. Let me know what you think!
